Jeff Stahla, Public Information Officer | Northern Water
Jeff Stahla is the Public Information Officer at Northern Water. He aims to inform the public about Northern Colorado’s history of water development and the challenges facing the region in the future. He is a native of Greeley and a graduate of Colorado State University. Before working at Northern Water, he had a 20-year career as an editor at the Loveland Reporter-Herald, and he calls Loveland his home.
Amanda Hoff, Water Resources Manager | Little Thompson Water District
Amanda Hoff is the Water Resources Manager for Little Thompson Water District. Amanda started her career as a Deputy Water Commissioner where she administered water rights on the main stem of the Rio Grande River, followed by consulting work in the Denver Metro Area with a small firm who focused mostly on groundwater. An opportunity brought her to Little Thompson Water District where she moved through the ranks beginning as a technician supporting the water rights staff to becoming the Water Resources Manager focusing on long-term water supply planning. She received her Bachelor of Science in Watershed Science from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) in 2014 and her Master of Environmental Science in Hydrology and Water Security from University of Oklahoma in 2022. A fun fact about Amanda is she grew up on a 50-acre farm just outside of Craig, Colorado. There, she initially began raising pigs for 4-H but later persuaded her dad to venture into having their own pig farm, breeding and raising many piglets.
Holly Suess, Customer Service Supervisor | Little Thompson Water District
Holly Suess is the Customer Service Supervisor at Little Thompson Water District. She has been in customer service for 35 + years. She received an Associates Degree from Aims Community College. She then went to work for Chicago Title in both the escrow and research departments. She then received a Marketing Certificate from CSU while working for a publishing company. An opportunity took her back to the real estate industry when she began working for Lifestyle Homes in Greeley. Following Lifestyle Homes closing their business, Holly had a chance to learn about water rights while working for her father who was a water rights broker. In 2007, a job presented itself at Little Thompson Water District. She has been with Little Thompson Water District for 17 years. While supporting and guiding customer relations, her primary focus is working with customers through new water service requests (tap sales) and water conservation education. In her personal time, Holly and her husband, Rick, love spending time with their kids, grandkids and as much time at their cabin as possible.
