Zonda Northern Colorado Housing Market Update

John Covert, Senior Director of Zonda’s (formerly MetroStudy) Western Region, has been researching and analyzing housing markets since 1999. He regularly meets and consults with many of the top home builders, as well as with lenders, developers, investors, suppliers, utilities, school districts,and local governments concerning trends in the local economy and their effect on the real estate market. John launched Metrostudy’s office in the Denver/Colorado Springs market during the fall of 2001, and is responsible for all operations there including surveying, consulting and managing local client relationships.

Prior to joining Metrostudy, John was the research manager for the Denver and Salt Lake offices of The Meyers Group. From 1996 to 1999, as staff associate of the Colorado Municipal League, John worked on behalf of Colorado’s cities in the areas of land use and telecommunications, as well as membership development and leadership training. John also worked for the City of Arvada Planning Office and the Parks & Recreation Planning office of the City & County of Denver
