Please join us to learn about economic activity and specific economic development projects going on in our region.  Economic Development professionals from Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland & Windsor will speak about current activity, trends and specific projects going on in their communities. The four guest speakers are:

Kelly Jones, SeonAh Kendall, Audrey Herbson, and Stacy Johnson.

Speakers:

Kelly Jones

Kelly Jones is the Economic Development Director for the City of Loveland. In this role, since January 2017, she oversees the business development and tourism components of the City. Her primary functions include corporate relations and retention, expansion and attraction assistance to primary industry. Previous to this, she was the Executive Director of the Warehouse Business Accelerator, Vice President of Northern Colorado Economic Development, Director of Corporate Solutions at Front Range CC, Chief Operating Officer for the Innosphere, Policy and Project Manager for the City of Fort Collins, Greeley’s first Economic Development Manager as well as 7 years in the capacity of Executive Director of the Loveland Center for Business Development. She holds a BA in Business Administration from CSU, an emphasis in Human Resources and a certification in Economic Development Finance. She is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at the University of Oklahoma. Kelly has an active civic background with former and current board and committee roles in over 20 different organizations. Kelly was recognized by the Northern CO Business Report in the first class of the Top 40 business people under the age of 40 making a difference in Northern CO in 2004 and a nominee for Larimer County Women of Distinction in 2011. She was awarded the Colorado Women of Vision award in 2012.

 

SeonAh Kendall

SeonAh Kendall, CPA serves as the City of Fort Collins’ Economic Health Manager, where she focuses on business retention and expansion, talent development/recruitment and special projects to ensure a vibrant Fort Collins economy. SeonAh is the project manager for the City’s broadband strategic plan and business engagement action plan.

SeonAh has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in financial and tax accounting from Colorado State University.

SeonAh serves on the boards of Front Range Community College Foundation and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). She is also members of the Economic Development Research Partnership, IEDC, Economic Development Council of Colorado, NoCO Manufacturing Partnership and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

 

 

Audrey Herbison

Audrey attended the University of Northern Colorado, earning a B.A. in Economics. As the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Greeley, her primary focus is business growth and attraction. Audrey provides business-resources that include site-selection, assisting businesses traverse the expansion process, and preparing City development-incentives.

 

 

 

Stacy Johnson

Stacy began working for the Town of Windsor April 2011. She has been involved in economic development for over 19 years and thoroughly enjoys working with companies to supply them with the resources that they can use to operate more efficiently and effectively. Prior to working for the Town of Windsor, she worked for Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) a regional economic development organization that served all of Larimer County. There she focused primarily on existing industry as the Director of Business Retention & Expansion. Prior to working at NCEDC Stacy worked for the City of Lakewood, Economic Development Office. Lakewood was the 4th largest City in the state at that time and she worked on projects like the redevelopment of Villa Italia into Belmar, Colorado Colfax Marathon and opening up 235 acres on the Denver Federal Center for development.

Stacy has been able to bring in over $465 million worth of investment to Windsor since 2011. That has equated to over 1.5 million square feet of space being built or acquired in the Town. Those companies will create over 2,100 jobs with an annual payroll of over $122 million. Stacy has handled over 744 prospects since starting the department.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising Media from the University of Northern Colorado, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, a graduate of the Leadership Jefferson County Program and Northern Colorado Leadership Program. Stacy has been a Biz West 40 under 40 honoree and a 2014 Woman of Vision from the Colorado Women of Influence.

Stacy currently sits on the Front Range Community College Business Advisory Board, Columbine Health Systems Advisory Board, Northern Colorado Manufacturing Sector Partnership Board, Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW) board, and the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) Board

Stacy grew up in Loveland and after working in different parts of the state moved back in 2006. She continues to be involved in the local community.
